Wild Card Weekend is here! This weekend, both FanDuel and DraftKings are offering Saturday only and Sunday only slates, but this article will be focused on the Saturday – Monday six game slate on DraftKings. Below are a list of our top cash game plays as well as GPP targets, but in order to best prepared for this slate, I’d recommend checking out these key resources:

In addition, ourĀ Roster Percentage Report can be a useful tool to identify some players who may go overlooked in large field tournaments this weekend. Let’s dive in!

Note: Plays listed below are in order of salary, NOT necessarily ranked by preferred plays.

Josh Allen $7,900 vs. MIA
If we weren’t considering salary, Allen is easily the best QB play on the slate. However, he’s priced up as the QB1 at almost $8K, so it’s a decision point on the slate. That said, there aren’t many holes you can poke in Allen at home against this Miami defense. The Bills have the slate’s highest team implied total, and the Dolphins are a pass funnel defense. Miami faced the league’s second-highest pass rate over expectation this year while allowing 7.3 yards per attempt to opposing QBs when playing on the road. Allen’s outlook is also bolstered by the fact that the Dolphins have allowed the league’s second-most QB rushing yards this season, and in his career, he’s averaging 7.5 rushing fantasy points per game against the Dolphins. We wouldn’t fault anyone for spending up for the QB with the highest floor and ceiling on this slate.

Daniel Jones $5,600 @ MIN
On the DFS Podcast this week, Kyle came up with the brilliant nickname for Daniel Jones – “Diet Josh Allen.” I think it fits perfectly – you have a QB who’s more than capable piling up rushing yards and a QB who’s shown ability to move the ball through the air in positive matchups. When these teams met in Week 16, Dimes had 24.8 DraftKings points while throwing for a season high 334 yards and 8 YPA. This matchup is as good as it gets for opposing passing attacks – the Vikings defense ranks 31st against the pass and has allowed the second-highest explosive pass rate over the last six weeks. When these clubs faced off a few weeks ago, the Giants’ pass rate was a whopping 68%. We’re projecting another pass centric game plan in the dome.
